Who runs Arkbuddy
Arkbuddy is operated by TristanGames in the United States. This policy covers the Arkbuddy website, account features, and custom server pages hosted by Arkbuddy.
For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected]. Include the account or page involved so we can find the right records. Do not send passwords, login tokens, or payment-card details.
Information we use
- Discord account information. When you sign in, Discord provides your user ID, username, avatar, and a list of servers your account belongs to. Arkbuddy uses this to identify your account, show relevant servers, and check access to account features. Discord handles your password; Arkbuddy does not receive it.
- Saved settings and content. Features may store preferences, saved servers, recipes, tracker data, bot configuration, and content you create or upload. Custom-page data includes page settings, drafts, published text, images, and links. What is stored depends on the features you use.
- Membership information. Arkbuddy uses membership status and tier information associated with your account to enable paid features and apply usage limits.
- Usage and technical information. Requests to the site and its providers include technical details such as an IP address and browser information. Analytics record page visits and tool interactions. This information helps operate the service, investigate errors and abuse, and understand which features people use.
- Messages you send us. If you contact support, we receive your message, contact information, and any files you attach. We use them to respond and resolve the issue.
Not everything you enter is saved to an account. Some tools work in your browser. For example, the ARK save inspector reads selected files locally. Uploading, publishing, or sharing through another feature is a separate action and can send content to Arkbuddy.
Cookies and browser storage
Arkbuddy uses a login cookie to keep you signed in and a short-lived cookie to check Discord sign-in requests. Login sessions expire; signing out ends the current session. A server restart is not a reliable way to clear cookies from your browser.
Local browser storage remembers things such as your theme, tool settings, favorites, and locally saved progress. This data can remain after you close the browser. Clearing site data may remove it, and signing out does not necessarily clear it.
You can remove cookies and stored data in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in or account features from working. Google and embedded services may also use cookies, as described below.
Analytics and advertising
Arkbuddy uses Google Analytics and its own usage-event system. Events can include the page or tool used, an action such as a conversion or export, and related details such as the selected game version or number of items. These help identify useful features and problems with the site.
Google AdSense serves ads on eligible pages. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or other identifiers to deliver ads, measure results, and personalize advertising where permitted. Arkbuddy does not sell your account details or uploaded content to advertisers.
Ad-free membership removes Arkbuddy's Google ad placements when your membership is recognized. It does not automatically disable analytics, external embeds, or links to partners.
See how Google uses information from partner sites. You can manage personalized advertising in Google My Ad Center and review the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Those controls apply to Google's services, not every request made by Arkbuddy.
Public pages and uploads
Content you publish on a custom server page or share through a public feature can be viewed, copied, or indexed by other people and search engines. Do not publish private contact details, server credentials, or information about someone else without permission.
A draft is separate from a published page, but it is still stored when you save it. A link to an uploaded image is not a private vault: people who have the URL may be able to access it. Removing an image from a page and deleting it from your media library are separate actions.
Custom pages are managed by their owners. Their links and embeds may connect to other services. Contact the page owner about information you submit directly to their community, and contact Arkbuddy about data held by our service.
Other services
Arkbuddy relies on providers for hosting, storage, content delivery, authentication, analytics, and advertising. They receive information needed to provide those services. Your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where those providers operate.
- Discord handles sign-in and community or bot interactions. Its use of data is described in the Discord Privacy Policy.
- Patreon handles membership checkout and billing. Payment information you enter there is handled by Patreon and its payment providers. See Patreon's Privacy Policy.
- Images, fonts, and embeds may load from external hosts. Loading them sends a request to that provider, which can receive your IP address and browser details. Video players, Discord widgets, and other embeds have their own privacy practices.
- Arkbuddy-Chan is served from arkbuddychan.app. If you use the companion, messages and content you submit are processed by that service. A page owner can also enable sharing page context with it. Review that service's privacy information before sending sensitive information.
Information may also be disclosed when needed to comply with a legal obligation, respond to a valid legal request, or protect the service and its users from abuse.
Keeping and deleting data
There is no single retention period for every feature. Login records have an expiry. Browser-stored settings remain until you or your browser clear them. Saved account content is kept to provide the feature until it is removed or no longer needed. Operational records may need to be kept longer to handle security incidents, disputes, or legal obligations.
Use the available delete controls for pages and uploaded media. For an account-level deletion request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you. We will explain any information that must be retained and why.
Deleting something from Arkbuddy does not remove copies another person saved, search-engine caches, or records independently held by Discord, Google, Patreon, or another provider. Clearing browser storage does not delete content saved on Arkbuddy's servers.
Your choices and rights
You can use many tools without signing in, change your browser's storage settings, remove published content through the relevant feature, and disconnect Arkbuddy in Discord's authorized-app settings. Disconnecting Discord does not itself delete content already saved with Arkbuddy.
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, object to or restrict certain uses, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. You may also have a right to complain to a privacy regulator.
Send requests to [email protected]. Tell us what you want to access or change and which account is involved. We will respond under the requirements that apply to your request.
Children's privacy
Arkbuddy is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact [email protected] so we can investigate and arrange removal where appropriate.

This page will be updated when the service or its data practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Where a change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it.
