Hey there!

I'm just one person running Arkbuddy to help make playing ARK easier. I really don't want your data, but I should explain the few things I do need to keep the site running.

What I Actually Keep

Here's the only stuff Arkbuddy collects:

• Your Discord ID (but only if you sign in that way)
• Any settings you save in the Discord bot
• Some usage data through Google Analytics (because I'm curious what parts of the site people actually use)

That's it! I don't want your personal info.

Why I Need That Stuff

Pretty simple reasons:

• Discord ID: So the site remembers your preferences
• Settings: So your stuff stays how you like it
• Analytics: So I can figure out what to improve

I don't sell your data or do anything weird with it. It's just there to make Arkbuddy work better.

How Long I Keep It

I keep your Discord ID and settings as long as you have an account. Want me to delete everything? Just hit up the account settings or message me directly.

Cookies and Stuff

Here's what cookies I use:

• Login cookies: Just to keep you logged in (they're stored in memory and disappear when the server is stopped)
• Google Analytics cookies: To see how people use the site
• Google AdSense cookies: For showing ads to free users (premium folks don't see ads)

About Those Ads

If you're using the free version, you'll see some Google ads. Premium users don't get ads. Google does its Google thing with tracking for those ads - I don't control exactly what they collect.

Your Rights

You can:

• Ask what data I have on you
• Tell me to delete your stuff
• Tell me to stop bugging you

If This Stuff Changes

If I need to change how any of this works, I'll let you know through the app or Discord.
